Q: Why did you start running this website?
A: I once started searching the web for decent horror/splatter movie related desktop images and spent hours and hours following pointless links spit out by the search engine. I decided to collect the wallpapers I found and put them on a website.

Q: Did you create all or any of the desktop images shown here?
A: No. As I said above, i collected them from all over the web and thought it would be a cool idea to share them with other movie fans.

Q: Why don't you have thumbnail previews in your galleries?
A: Because it would take ages to load them.

Q: What is mirrorz.com? Do you have anything to do with them?
A: It's a domain name which belongs to a company called ShortURL.com. They offer free redirection addresses in the form of yourname.domainname.local - if you would like to have such a webaddress, just follow the link and sign up for their free service.

Q: Do you sell DVDs, VHS, posters, action figures or any other kind of merchandising?
A: No. This is a 100% non-commercial webpage and i don't have anything to sell.

Q: How do i set an image as my default desktop background image?
A: PC users: Simply rightclick the image and select "Set as wallpaper". (Mac instructions coming soon.)

Q: I can't open your zip archives - why?
A: Because you most probably don't have a zip/unzip utility. If so, I recommend trying a free evaluation version of WinRar.

Q: I'm trying to download one of your zip archives but the file in my computer has the extension ".zip.exe" - why is that and how can i fix it?
A: That's because you are most probably a Netscape or Mozilla user. Solution for that problem is simple: Instead of using the "Download" link, open the "Preview" link, rightclick the image and select "Save target as..." to store the image on your computer or select "Set as wallpaper" to have it as your desktop background immediately.

Q: Why don't you offer screensavers?
A: Because I use free webspace and can't offer such applications due to filesize - and bandwidth limits. Sorry about that.

Q: The advertisements are annoying - can't you remove them?
A: Sorry, no can do. Popup ads advertisements is the way this free webspace is paid for.

Q: I'm missing wallpapers from one or more of the following titles: Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Scream Trilogy, I Know What You Did Last Summer, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer etc. - why?
A: Cos i don't feature teenie/kiddie/sissy movies in my collection - simple as that. If you're looking for such stuff, you'll find plenty of other websites providing the images you wish to see/download.

Q: Why don't you feature some cool non-horror movie wallpapers?
A: I thought about that but this website's focus is on horror movies. I'm still tempted to open a non-horror wallpaper section, maybe even a new website... let's see.
